How do I register for classes?
There are several convenient ways to register for swim lessons. You can use our user friendly Customer Portal by creating an account and then selecting the class level online. If you are unsure what level to register for, please contact our Front Desk Team at 703-321-7946.
How long are swimming lessons?
Our swim lessons are for 30 minutes long. You can select once a week or swim twice a week and receive a 10% discount on each class. You pick the schedule that works and come every week to build stability and consistency for your child.
How many months will my child need to take swim lessons?
Every child is different and learns differently. It is also dependent on what swim goals you have for your child. Swimming is a long term commitment, but we do believe that children have the fundamental swimming & safety skills once they have graduated from our Level 5 class.
What if I join swim lessons in the middle of a month?
You can join into swim lessons any time of the month. You pay only for the classes that are left in the month.
What happens if I have to miss a class?
Make-up tokens are issued one per month for a missed lesson with a minimum of 24hrs notice. Please let us know when your child will be absent and a token will be issued on your account. Tokens are valid for 90 days from the date of your absence, as long as you are still actively enrolled in swim lessons.
If your child is sick, and you haven’t missed a class yet, a token can be given with less than 24hrs notice.
How will I know if my child needs to move up a level?
We evaluate swimmers every class. When an instructor believes your child is ready to move up, the Deck Hand or Manager will determine if they are ready. Once your child is passed, you receive an automated email and our Deck Hand will inform you so you can select a new class.
Our Instructors Skill Track at the end of each shift so you can follow along your child’s progress in the Mobile App or Customer Portal.
What if I need to end or pause swim lessons?
A Drop Notification must be received by the 19th of the month to cancel lessons for the upcoming month. Billing is processed on the 20th of the month for the upcoming month. Notice received after the 20th, will be dropped for the last day of following month.
Drop Requests can be submitted via the Customer Portal or Mobile App only.
